We are looking for
Electrical Design Engineer/ Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components to meet project specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. The position will also be involved with cost estimation and budgeting of industrial automation projects involving PLC systems, SCADA systems, control panels, and instrumentation. Ensures accurate quantity take-offs, cost control, and technical coordination throughout project execution.

Your Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for automation and control system projects.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations with Commercial/Sales and Procurement support.
- Monitor project budgets, manage variations and change orders, and prepare cost reports and billing documentation.
- Review PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation drawings; validate material quantities and installation scope.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure project alignment.
- Develop electrical designs, schematics, layouts, and control systems using CAD software.
- Conduct load calculations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
- Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE, and other applicable standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and updated project records.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field).
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
- Experience in industrial automation, electrical, or control system projects.
- Strong background in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (panel layouts, schematics, and technical drawings).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
