Job Description

Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:

The E-Learning Manager is responsible for the following management of online learning platform and materials for Eastwest Ageas Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Content Design and Development

· Implement the end-to-end ADDIE as it relates to e-learning (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate).

· Produce curricula and high-quality e-learning modules and online assessments that suit online and blended learning & adult learning principles.

· Provide advice and recommendations to EWA subject matter experts with regard to topics that suit the e-learning environment.

· Collaborate with EWA Lab Education and Talent Management to develop e-learning modules that support new hire training, new product training and general EWAper development.

· Participate in any working group that needs e-learning support; participate in content audit as required; adhere to correct and consistent presentation style across resources developed.

· Prepare the storyboard and translates a material into an e-learning course through multimedia development.

· Upload and configure a course in the LMS based on the expected learning experience for the learners.

· Manage course requests and pipeline of courses to be released through the LMS.

2.Project Coordination

· Manage course requests and pipeline of courses to be released through the LMS.

· Lead project delivery and provide advice and expertise as necessary in terms of developing and implementing innovative e-learning solutions

· Manage multiple and ongoing digital learning projects.

· Work with EWA Marketing, EWA Tech and other units to support e-learning content requirements; produce internal communication materials (posters, videos) as needed.

3.LMS Management and Reports

· Oversee the general management of LMS, including system maintenance in partnership with EWA Tech and/or LMS vendor, user access management and configuration of functionalities to ensure a consistent and positive end-user experience.

· Run demos and/or user learning sessions for individuals and target groups, if necessary.

· Ensure that participants optimize the content available in the LMS. Do regular campaigns if needed.

· Utilize LMS reporting capabilities and developing custom reports to assist stakeholders in decision making

· Act as first level support to address concerns related to the platform and performs simple processes related to maintenance of the platform.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of direct working experience in managing an LMS environment
  • More than 10 e-learning modules created
  • Strong technical skills in using e-learning authoring tools such as articulate, adobe captivate; video editing and graphics design are a plus
  • Learning and Development Background
  • Strong business partnering skills
