About the Role
The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing Spinneys PH's online sales channels to drive revenue growth, ensure excellent customer experience and support omnichannel operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the supermarket's e-commerce platform (Website, App, Third-party marketplace)
- Ensure product listings are accurate, complete and optimized (pricing, images, descriptions, availability)
- Set up and manage online promotions, discounts, bundles and campaigns aligned with in-store promos
- Optimize homepage, category pages and product placements to drive conversion
- Track key e-commerce KPIs such as sales, conversion rate, average order value and customer retention
- Coordinate with warehouse or store picking teams and delivery partners to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Relevant educational background in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce, online retail or digital operations
- Experience in supermarket, grocery or retail is highly preferred
- Experience in vendor management and third-party food delivery App
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online merchandising
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data
- High attention to detail, especially for pricing and product accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, experience with e-commerce platforms or analytical tools is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced, promotional retail environment
