E-Commerce Senior Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30-minute break
Salary: $1700
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks.
- Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly/annual close processes.
- Manage inventory accounting, cost tracking, and high-volume transaction processing.
- Handle invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense reporting.
- Prepare financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with external accountants on tax filings and audits.
- Support data-driven forecasting and contribute to FP&A initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and GAAP
- Advanced Google Sheets skills for financial modeling and analysis
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop
- Solid understanding of order flows, reconciliation, and platform-specific accounting nuances
- Background in consumer products industry with deep knowledge of inventory, COGS, and high transaction volumes
- Analytical mindset and desire to grow into an FP&A-focused role
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, remote environment
- Experience in retail or direct-to-consumer businesses(preferred)
- Familiarity with tax compliance in multi-channel e-commerce operations(preferred)
