The client has experience working with remote and international team members and is actively investing in better hiring, onboarding, and delegation practices to support sustainable growth. The goal is to build a trusted operations team that can take ownership of core workflows and contribute meaningfully to the company's success over the long term.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Manager to act as a right-hand operator within a growing e-commerce business. This role is critical to day-to-day execution and long-term scalability. The ideal candidate has strong operational judgment, e-commerce experience, and the ability to take ownership of workflows with minimal supervision.

This is not a task-only role. We are looking for someone who wants a long-term career opportunity, brings proactive problem-solving skills, and can be trusted to manage core business operations transparently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations & Administration

  • Manage and execute daily operational tasks across e-commerce platforms
  • Oversee product listings, bidding, and product research activities
  • Maintain accurate operational data and documentation
  • Ensure processes are followed, optimized, and continuously improved
  • Any task that aligns with the role that may not be stated in the job description may require diligence.

Tools & Systems Management

  • Work daily within tools such as:
  • Slack (internal communication)
  • Airtable (operations and data tracking)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Internal and third-party e-commerce platforms (e.g., Breadbasket or similar tools)
  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest system or workflow improvements

Product Research & Bidding

  • Conduct detailed product research to identify profitable opportunities
  • Execute and manage bidding strategies according to defined guidelines
  • Track performance metrics and flag issues or opportunities proactively

Process Ownership & Optimization

  • Take ownership of assigned workflows and ensure they run smoothly
  • Identify bottlenecks, errors, or inefficiencies before they become problems
  • Help document SOPs and improve existing processes over time

Communication & Accountability

  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and proactively with leadership
  • Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and results
  • Maintain a high standard of transparency and reliability

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in e-commerce operations
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn tools like Slack, Airtable, and QBO
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of integrity, transparency, and dependability
  • Ability to work independently without constant oversight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or coordinating operational workflows
  • Familiarity with bidding systems or marketplace-based e-commerce models
  • Prior experience working directly with U.S.-based companies
  • Comfort working with performance metrics and KPIs
  • Interest in long-term growth within a single company
