Our client is a fast-growing DTC brand, looking for a high-performance Creative Strategist who lives and breathes performance marketing. If you understand what makes a scroll-stopper convert, love scripting hooks that hit, and can direct UGC, statics, and motion assets with strategic precision, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
As our Creative Strategist, you'll own end-to-end creative strategy for our hero SKUs including pet health products, hair loss products, supplements, and accessories. You'll turn insights into thumb-stopping, revenue-driving creative across Meta, YouTube, and more.
Your Core Responsibilities
Creative Strategy
Develop and lead multi-SKU ad creative across the customer journey
Craft and test messaging angles, formats, and frameworks that drive conversions
Use customer reviews, performance data, and market trends to prioritize concepts
Scripting & Concepting
Regularly script the following:
VSLs (Video Sales Letters)
UGC and VO-led ads
Short-form scripts and hooks
Static ad copy/concepts
Motion briefs (GIFs, animations)
Ensure each concept is emotionally resonant, platform-native, and conversion-optimized
Review & Feedback Loop
Participate in review rounds with our in-house producer/editor team
Provide clear, constructive feedback to elevate quality and align with brand tone
Cross-functional Collaboration
Join weekly syncs with our internal creative and growth team
Collaborate on creator casting and brief development (we use Insense)
Recommend and help iterate on workflow improvements and testing strategy
Success Looks Like
Consistent delivery of high-impact creative that boosts ROAS
Strong understanding of ecommerce trends, ad psychology, and performance hooks
Ability to work fast without sacrificing polish
Willingness to go above and beyond during campaign pushes or launches
Your Toolkit
You've developed creative for DTC brands in wellness, personal care, pet, or similar
spaces
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager data or know how to read performance feedback
You can script, concept, and brief editors or animators
Not afraid to jump on Slack or join calls communication matters here
Deliverables & Compensation
11 scripts per week. This includes: Statics (IMG ads), Elevenlabs / UGC, Iterations,
VSLs
Flexibility for fast scale-up if we hit a groove
Open to creative tests before long-term scope agreement
