As a Document Controller Project manages the 201 files of the company. They maintain document control procedures, enforce version control for engineering drawings, contracts, and reports, and distribute information to authorized personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management: Maintaining, organizing, and tracking documents (blueprints, contracts, reports) through their entire lifecycle.
- Version Control & Accuracy: Ensuring all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and using correct, approved versions
- Distribution & Retrieval: Scanning, scanning, and distributing documents to relevant teams and handling retrieval requests.
- Compliance: Ensuring documentation meets company, quality, and industry standards.
- System Maintenance: Managing electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Reporting: Preparing document progress reports for senior management and tracking document status.
Key Requirements
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
- Experience: Proven experience in document control, project administration, or similar roles (often in construction, engineering, or legal sectors).
- Education: Bachelor Degree
