Role: Principal DMS Solutions & Post-Scan Lead

Role Summary
The Principal DMS Solutions & Post-Scan Lead serves as the organization's highest-level technical expert and governs the quality and methodology of all Document Management System (DMS) implementations. This role owns the architectural integrity of the solution from presales through post-go-live sign-off and directly supervises the post-scan processing team to ensure data accuracy in accordance with the target plan.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Architecture & Delivery Governance
- Solution Architecture: Architect and design comprehensive DMS solutions that are scalable and directly address the client's business objectives, including the deployment of GPU servers and virtualization hosts.
- Delivery Standards: Define and enforce standardized delivery methodologies and technical best practices for all DMS implementations in accordance with the target plan.
- Quality Gate Authority: Own and enforce critical Quality Gates (e.g., Design Freeze, Migration Readiness) and provide the final technical sign-off required for phase progression.
- On-Premise Deployment: Oversee the installation and configuration of project-critical hardware, such as NAS, network switches, and high-volume scanners.
- Platform Mastery: Serve as the ultimate expert on the DMS platform, including core architecture, APIs, and workflow engines to ensure system health.
2. Post-Scan Supervision & Data Governance
- Post-Scan Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the post-scan processing team to ensure scanned documents are accurately classified and indexed with correct metadata.
- Information Architecture: Advise internal teams on best practices for taxonomy design, metadata tagging, and data migration strategies in accordance with the target plan.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve key technical deliverables, such as migration and test plans, to ensure alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Technical Escalation: Act as the primary senior technical escalation point for the client and internal team to resolve critical design challenges or metadata discrepancies.
- Verification Oversight: Coordinate with key users to verify that search functionality and document retrieval meet requirements before the system goes live.
3. Presales, Growth & Adaptive Responsibilities
- Technical Sales Leadership: Partner with Account Executives to lead the technical sales strategy and drive in-depth discovery sessions for prospective clients.
- Proposal Development: Author the technical and solution-oriented sections of proposals, RFP responses, and SOWs, clearly defining the technical scope.
- Account Growth: Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the portfolio to expand the client relationship and meet revenue targets.
- Dynamic Demonstrations: Build and present tailored product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) environments for technical and executive audiences.
- Multi-Project Support: Assume responsibility for other related technical portfolios or special assignments as designated by leadership to support organizational growth.
Preferred Experience
- Large-Scale Digitization: Proven track record in managing high-volume document management projects involving millions of pages
- Implementation: Experience delivering complex digital transformation projects
- Enterprise Deployment: Prior experience implementing ECMS solutions for large, concurrent user bases (up to 300 users).
- Infrastructure Management: Direct experience in managing the setup of server cabinets, GPU hardware, and specialized scanning equipment
