Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:
The Distribution Planning Manager is a pivotal role focused on maximizing identified growth opportunities and improving sales operational excellence across all EWA distribution channels (ie Agency, Banca, Digital and Group).
This position combines analytical rigor with strategic vision to craft initially the business cases on identified opportunities that require new products and/or technology enhancements, design tactical campaigns for sales channels and write detailed implementing guidelines of these approved business cases and campaigns.
The role also requires close collaboration with cross functional teams to align strategies with organizational goals while optimizing resources allocation to Distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Business Case Development
Assist the Distribution Planning and Performance Lead by leading the creation of business cases for identified gaps and opportunities that require technological enhancements, new product launches and sales process improvements.
Assist in benchmarking EWA products and sales technology tools with competitors, primarily on their product commission designs, existing sales dashboard and others.
Collaborate with sales channel heads, PPM, TDX, SPM and L&C to align business case proposals with its feasibility and budget constraints prior to presentation to senior management.
2. Sales Campaign & Inforce Customer Campaign Design
Assist in designing tactical campaigns to drive immediate sales production from sales channels while still within the campaign budget.
Collaborate with D&A in leveraging EWA customer data and insights to create existing customer programs (ie upselling, recapture etc.)
Designing cost-effective sales campaigns to drive sales production from agency and banca. This includes preparing post-campaign analysis. And evaluation.
3. Writing of Implementation Guidelines
Translate approved business cases and campaigns into actionable rules, guidelines and playbooks for proper implementation of cross functional teams.
Work with the Distribution Engagement and Communication Team and sales channels heads in ensuring progress is tracked and finding solutions when issues arise.
4. Key Group Account Support
Support the Distribution Strategy Head and collaborate with the Chief Business Officer (CBO) in managing group accounts with the FLI group and pursuing opportunities to expand to other untapped teams within FLI.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year- course
Minimum of 5 years industry experience in Insurance Distribution Development
Ability to work well with people of all levels within the organization
Above average copy writing and communication skills
High degree of professionalism and good business etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Office
