Director of Revenue Cycle Management (Healthcare)

Remote | Philippines only

The Functionary is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead and optimize end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle operations across global, distributed teams.

What You'll Be Doing

Revenue Cycle Leadership

• Oversee the full RCM lifecycle: billing, coding, AR, denials, appeals, and collections
• Drive KPIs such as Days in AR, denial rates, and cash collections
• Optimize revenue performance across multiple healthcare clients

Team & Operations Management

• Lead managers, supervisors, and RCM teams in a BPO / outsourcing environment
• Implement SOPs, QA programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing remote teams

Compliance & Payer Expertise

• Ensure HIPAA, CMS, and payer compliance
• Work with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, Workers Comp, Tricare, and commercial payers
• Oversee fee schedules, payer contracts, and reimbursement accuracy

Client & Executive Collaboration

• Act as a strategic partner to clients and executive stakeholders
• Deliver performance reports, insights, and recommendations
• Resolve complex escalations with professionalism and urgency

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

7+ years in leadership roles managing billing, AR, coding, and denials teams

Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, EOBs, ERAs

Experience in outsourcing, BPO, shared services, or multi-client environments

Advanced English level (C1)

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Certifications are a plus: CPC, CPB, CRCP, CRCE, CHFP

Position Details

Schedule: Full-time availability required (exact schedule provided later in the process)

Location: Remote Philippines only
