Role Overview
The Director of Support Services leads and oversees key support functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, and IT, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy. This role drives operational excellence, service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration while managing large-scale initiatives. The position also plays a critical role in project governance, ensuring timelines, execution, and stakeholder updates are effectively managed across departments.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of director-level leadership experience managing multiple functions or departments
- Proven experience in handling medium to large-scale operations (500–1000 FTEs)
- Strong project management experience across multiple departments, with ability to drive timelines and deliverables
- Exposure to Motorcycle, Automotive, Retail, or FMCG industries is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing C-Suite stakeholders
- Strong understanding of shared services or support services operating models
- Solid financial acumen, including budget management and cost optimization
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-scaling, dynamic environment
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core support functions including Marketing, HR, Accounting, and IT, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the operating model, structure, and KPIs of the support services division
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring clear timelines, execution plans, and regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality support services to business units
- Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure performance standards and stakeholder satisfaction are met
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team across all support service functions
- Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Promote a culture of service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and audit readiness across all support functions
- Lead talent development, employee engagement, and organizational capability-building initiatives
