Role Overview

The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts, focusing on IT Solutions sales such as Software Development, Cloud Services, Digital Platforms, and IT Staffing solutions.

This role requires a highly experienced sales leader with strong consultative selling skills, deep industry network, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets in enterprise technology services.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy

  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise clients and expanding existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with NCS PH growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for Software Development, Cloud, Platform Solutions, and IT Staffing services.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead complex solution selling engagements involving multi-service offerings.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers.
  • Understand client business challenges and propose value-driven IT solutions.
  • Position NCS PH as a trusted advisor for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct executive presentations, solution workshops, and business reviews.

Solution Selling & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with delivery teams, solution architects, and technical leaders to design client-centric solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into customized proposals covering software, cloud, platforms, and IT staffing.
  • Lead RFP, proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities.

Market Expansion

  • Identify new market segments and industry opportunities.
  • Maintain strong understanding of industry trends including cloud adoption, digital transformation, platform modernization, and IT talent demand.
  • Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors and ecosystem partners.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide leadership in driving strategic accounts and large deals.
  • Work closely with senior management to align sales strategy with organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the IT services industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in enterprise IT sales.
  • Strong experience in selling:
  • Software Development Solutions
  • Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP or similar)
  • Digital Platforms
  • IT Staffing / Professional Services
  • Managed Services
  • Experience handling large enterprise clients across industries such as BFSI, Telco, Government, Healthcare, Retail, or Technology.
  • Experience in consultative and solution-based selling approach.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong network of enterprise clients and industry contacts.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multi-million deals.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation and emerging technologies.
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in multinational IT services or system integration companies.
  • Familiarity with ASEAN market or regional accounts.
  • Experience in managing large-scale transformation programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA is an advantage.
