The Investment Operations leader is expected to work closely with the global functional leaders to support both the day-to-day processing and transformation of our function. The Investments business has kicked off a multi-year transformation journey to drive digitization, automation, and increase straight through put processing and leverage our global hub for more end-to-end functions.

We're looking for a leader who demonstrates a strong operational processing background including a strong focus on efficiency and risk mitigation. A collaborative, transparent leader who can create and communicate a vision and engage individuals to work towards objectives. This role requires a highly visible leader who can drive change through relationships, thought leadership and exceptional business knowledge and the ability to get things done.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Business Relationship Management: Oversee day-to-day service delivery, manage global cross-functional relationships, and ensure integration across teams to meet SLAs and exceed quality standards.
  • Issue Resolution & Risk Management: Escalate and resolve operational issues promptly, mitigate risks, validate risk assessments, and ensure timely closure of audit points.
  • Service Development & Transformation: Enhance service capabilities through expertise in investment products and operational excellence. Drive strategic reviews, submit business cases, and execute transformation initiatives.
  • Performance & Governance: Refresh service standards, monitor KPIs/KRIs, deliver dashboards and reports, and ensure adherence to MBPS governance and operating standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted business partner, enable feedback channels, and maintain strong relationships with business units and customers.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: Hire, coach, and develop teams; manage compensation, promotions, and succession planning; foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Strategic Contribution: Participate in business planning and translate strategies into actionable initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Relevant undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced certifications (MBA, CFA, CISI, Six Sigma, Agile/SCRUM) are an advantage.

  • Experience:8+ years in Investment Operations and/or Wealth Management
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end trade and cash management, SWIFT standards, onboarding, asset servicing, reconciliation, investment accounting, client reporting, and performance analytics
  • Deep understanding of global regulatory changes impacting Investment Operations
  • Skills:Proven client service and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid operations management and business acumen
  • Strong people leadership (5+ years) with experience managing professional teams
  • Ability to influence within a matrix organization and drive alignment toward common goals

Technical: Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with data tools and operational risk frameworks is a plus.

  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and lifecycle phases; capable of managing complex projects and driving significant change.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Flexibility & Commitment: Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel as needed.
