The Head of Platform Technology is a senior leader responsible for shaping and delivering the strategic platform vision that underpins the organization's digital products, enterprise integration, and data capabilities. This role oversees the design and operation of three key internal platforms:
- Digital Platform: Provides reusable services, APIs, and DevSecOps pipelines to accelerate product delivery.
- Integration Platform: Enables scalable, governed connectivity through modern APIs, event-driven architecture, and partner integration.
- Data Platform: Supports analytics, AI/ML, and real-time data through a secure, self-service, cloud-native architecture.
The role will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver platform capabilities as internal products, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and developer-friendly. Collaborating across business, engineering, security, and data functions, the role will drive adoption, improve delivery velocity, and unlock data-driven innovationpositioning the platform as a strategic enabler of growth and agility.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience leading platform engineering or infrastructure/product teams.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional, global or enterprise-scale initiatives.
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), automation, IaC tooling.
- Familiarity with developer tooling, API platforms/integration stacks, ML workloads or domainspecific infrastructure (if applicable).
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to translate technical value to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Product-minded, able to collect and shepherd feedback into roadmap priorities.
