Digital Marketing Specialist (UI/UX) Developer

Description

As the lead specialist for digital design and UX, this role is primarily responsible for developing mockups and prototypes for the company website. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product teams to translate our brand vision and user needs into intuitive, visually appealing web designs.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality user interfaces for Vertiv digital touchpoints, primarily updates and enhancements to the company website
• Develop and present concepts through wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes
• Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and usability testing
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver enhanced digital experiences that balance business and user requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve the website's design
• Assist in maintaining a consistent visual identity and user interface across the site according to Vertiv digital design guidelines
• Assist with other UX-related projects such as usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and other activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
• Create, update, and collaborate on the Vertiv digital design guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

• In depth understanding and experience in brand, graphic, and user experience design
• Knowledge and experience in performing user experience and usability task-related tasks such as research, prototyping, designing, testing
• Skilled in Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, etc.
• Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and JS is a plus
• Experience in using a prototyping too (ex. Figma) is a big plus
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows/MS Office programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a multi-cultural organization and across different management levels
• Creative, out-of-the box thinker with excellent organizational time & project management skills
• Has the self-development skills that can aid in keeping up to date with fast-changing trends
• Understanding of Vertiv's business objectives and can support this by creating meaningful digital experiences
