Objective of this role:
- Ensure all online listings, menus, and website information are accurate, current, and on-brand
- Improve local search visibility and ensure listings appear correctly across platforms
- Strengthen online reputation through timely, professional review responses and review generation tactics
- Increase catering awareness and inquiries through consistent promotion and outreach
- Operate proactivelyidentify issues and fix them without waiting for direction
Responsibilities:
Website & Menu Management:
- Keep website and menus up to date with accurate pricing, attractive photos, and correct legal/audit information
SEO & Search Optimization:
- Ensure we appear correctly in search engines; implement best practices for SEO
Online Reputation & Review Management:
- Respond promptly and professionally to reviews on Google, Yelp, and other platforms
- Maintain and enhance our Google Maps listings
Content & Campaigns:
- Regularly post engaging graphics and content across relevant channels
- Run email and text blast campaigns
- Develop and promote catering services
Guest Engagement & Feedback:
- Implement and manage cash register barcodes for customer reviews
- Track and reward guests for leaving reviews (e.g., free items)
Proactive Improvement:
- Consistently look for ways to improve our digital presence and take initiative to address issues without waiting for direction
Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience supporting digital marketing for a local business (restaurant experience preferred)
- Strong written communication (warm, professional tone) and confidence in outreach
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and consistent with follow-through
- Familiarity with:
- Google Business Profile (Google My Business)
- Yelp and major review platforms
- Basic local SEO concepts
- Email/text marketing tools (or ability to learn quickly)
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize without micromanagement
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Restaurant industry marketing experience
- Light graphic design ability (Canva or similar) or strong ability to update existing templates accurately
- Experience improving online reputation and increasing review volume
- Experience promoting catering and generating inbound inquiries
- Comfort coordinating with multiple restaurant locations/brands
