The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant (Pinterest) to help expand our visual footprint and drive discovery for our brand. In this role, you will be the engine behind our Pinterest presence, transforming existing brand assets into high-performing pins and maintaining a consistent, high-volume publishing schedule. This is an ideal role for someone who excels at content execution, understands the nuances of Pinterest SEO, and enjoys the process of organizing digital libraries to fuel platform growth.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Content Repurposing: Adapt and resize existing brand visual assets to meet specific Pinterest pin specifications.
- Publishing Management: Upload and publish pins on a consistent cadence to meet reach, impression, and discovery goals.
- Board Organization: Categorize and manage Pinterest boards using defined themes and naming conventions provided by the brand team.
- SEO Optimization: Write and apply optimized titles, descriptions, and keywords to maximize searchability within the platform.
- Account Migration Support: Assist in organizing account structures and supporting the consolidation of multiple accounts into a unified brand presence.
- Performance Monitoring: Track basic metrics such as views, impressions, and outbound traffic to identify high-performing content styles.
- Team Collaboration: Flag trending content formats and themes to the team to inform future creative uploads.
What You Bring
- Platform Experience: Prior experience working with Pinterest or similar visual social platforms in a publishing or social media support capacity.
- Content Preparation: Hands-on experience formatting and resizing visual assets for social media platforms.
- SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with Pinterest SEO basics, including effective keyword usage in titles and descriptions.
- Operational Execution: Ability to follow defined strategies and guidelines with high precision and minimal oversight.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage high-volume workflows and navigate digital asset libraries or shared folders.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional focus on accuracy when managing large-scale content uploads and data entry.
Bonus Points if:
- You have experience supporting organic Pinterest growth specifically for eCommerce or lifestyle brands.
- You are familiar with Pinterest Analytics or performance reporting tools.
- You have a background in the home, interior, or design-driven industries.
- You have experience using creative editing tools to resize and touch up assets.
- You are ready to grow into managing Pinterest ad campaigns and running A/B tests on creative formats.
