Job Summary

The Digital Content Specialist / Writer is responsible for producing clear, compelling, and data-informed digital content that supports Quezon City's investment promotion, startup development, and economic development initiatives. The role translates economic data, policy updates, and city programs into engaging digital narratives that increase awareness, strengthen brand positioning, and deepen engagement with investors, startups, and ecosystem partners. This position supports campaigns and events through consistent, high-quality content across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Content Development

Conduct research using national, regional, and city-level economic literature, policy documents, and industry reports to support investment promotion and startup development initiatives

Content Creation and Storytelling

Develop high-quality written and visual content, including press and feature articles, social media posts, website content, newsletters, and IEC materials

Translate technical information, economic data, and policy updates into accessible, audience-appropriate digital content

Digital Communications and SEO Support

Apply basic SEO and content marketing principles to improve discoverability and reach of digital content

Support content planning and publishing across official digital platforms and websites

Event and Campaign Content Support

Produce event-related content such as announcements, speaker features, post-event highlights, and documentation materials

Coordinate with events and marketing teams to ensure timely and consistent content delivery before, during, and after activities

Brand Consistency and Quality Control

Ensure all digital content adheres to the city and office brand guidelines, tone, and messaging frameworks

Maintain consistency in visual style, language, and narrative across platforms

Content Performance Monitoring

Assist in tracking basic digital performance metrics (reach, engagement, website traffic) to support content refinement and reporting

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia Arts, Development Communication, or a related field
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in digital content creation, writing, or communications; experience in government, development, or investment promotion is an advantage Demonstrated portfolio of written and digital content across platforms
