The role assists the department head in achieving set goals. He / She leads Digital Channel Group's exploration of new ecosystems, adoption of innovative use cases, the translation of such into value-creating processes for the bank, and the eventual turnover of said processes to receiving business groups. Concurrently, he / she develops and creates strategic partnerships to offer value-generating engagements from DCG's Open banking offering set.
Responsibilities
- Explores ecosystems and innovative use cases
- Evaluates the initiatives of various players - which may cover government, financial industry players, FinTechs - and explore how these may be adopted for use by the bank enterprise.
- adopts innovations into business processes that will generate value, whether financial or non-financial in nature, to the BPI enterprise
- Creates business requirements and works with Platforms, IT, and support groups to evaluate feasibility, delivery, and BAU support. Assumes temporary ownership of the business venture, and turns over to a receiving business group after an agreed upon incubation period.
- Expands revenue streams by exploring new solutions to the partners and business needs. Carefully plans and studies the profitability of the partnerships, and other income generating projects of channels, understanding the key drivers of its revenues; costs and other key result areas
- Leads enhancements and integration monitoring
- Reviews business requirements to ensure consistent partners experience/expectation and endorse to Systems and Projects for technical development
- Ensures that requirements are correctly and completely documented. Manages the API Partners to aid them in integration. Monitors and analyzes usage and efficiency of involved processes
- Fulfills API Partner Inquiries
- Addresses concerns, complaints and suggestions raised by Partners in relation to integration. Ensures that inquiries and concerns are attended to and resolved to ensure synergy between the Bank and the Partners
Qualifications
- Graduate of any 4-year business related course. Post graduate is an advantage
- At least 2 years in Marketing, Product / Project Management, Business Development
- IT background and experience is a plus
- Must have knowledge in Project Management
- Proficient in oral and written communication
- Able to apply sound problem-solving techniques to various situations
- Good organizational skills and can work effectively
