Role Summary
The DAM Manager oversees Toynk's digital asset ecosystem ensuring all product images, videos, brand assets, and creative files are properly organized, tagged, stored, and accessible. This role owns the DAM platform, defines governance standards, streamlines workflows, and supports cross-functional teams (design, marketing, ecommerce, product) in efficient asset usage.
Must-Have
- 3+ years experience managing a DAM system or similar content-management environment
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomies, file naming conventions, and version control
- Experience implementing workflows for asset ingestion, QA, approval, and distribution
- Comfort training and supporting internal teams on best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate across departments and manage competing priorities
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with creative or ecommerce-focused companies
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, project management tools, or content pipelines
- Experience migrating or implementing a new DAM system
- Knowledge of copyright and usage rights management
