Role Overview

The Channel Lead – Digital & Social is a senior offshore leadership role responsible for owning and scaling digital and social content capability across B2B, B2C, and Provider audiences. This role serves as the enterprise owner for digital and social channels—driving strategy, execution governance, innovation, and performance optimization at scale. Operating in a global, matrixed environment, this role is expected to function with a high degree of autonomy, influence senior stakeholders across geographies, and ensure offshore delivery consistently delivers enterprise-level outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Global Channel Strategy & Ownership

• Own and continuously evolve the digital and social channel strategy for across key audiences and platforms.

• Partner closely with global marketing leadership to ensure channel strategy supports enterprise brand positioning, campaign priorities, and business objectives.

• Serve as the global subject-matter authority on digital and social channels, platform capabilities, and emerging trends.

Content Planning & Scaled Execution

• Lead end-to-end planning and development of digital and social content across paid and owned channels.

• Oversee content calendar strategy and governance, ensuring delivery excellence, platform optimization, and campaign alignment.

• Translate high-level campaign and brand guidance into scalable executional frameworks for offshore teams and agency partners.

Governance, Standards & Operational Excellence

• Define and enforce channel governance, including platform-specific content standards, brand and tone-of-voice consistency, and quality, compliance, and risk controls.

• Establish best practices and playbooks that enable speed, scale, and consistency across markets and audiences.

• Continuously improve operating models to reduce cycle time, rework, and dependency on external agencies.

Innovation, AI & Capability Enablement

• Drive adoption of AI and automation to enhance content creation, personalization, and distribution efficiency.

• Identify and scale innovative approaches to digital and social storytelling aligned to enterprise needs.

• Partner with transformation, analytics, and technology teams to pilot and institutionalize new capabilities.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

• Own performance measurement across digital and social channels, including engagement, efficiency, and ROI.

• Translate data into actionable insights and executive-ready recommendations for optimization.

• Provide clear performance narratives to senior US stakeholders, connecting channel outcomes to business impact.

Global Stakeholder Leadership

• Act as a trusted offshore leader and thought partner to US-based senior marketing stakeholders.

• Lead through influence in a matrix environment, balancing global direction with local execution realities.

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing offshore teams with strong accountability, capability depth, and future readiness.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall, 13-15 years of experience with 8–10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, social media, or content leadership within large, global organizations.

• Demonstrated success owning and scaling enterprise-level digital and social channels across multiple audiences.

• Deep expertise across paid and organic social strategies, digital platforms, and evolving media trends.

• Proven experience leveraging AI-driven content tools and marketing automation to drive efficiency and impact.

• Strong executive presence with experience partnering with US-based senior leaders and operating across time zones.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
