Role Overview

The Channel Lead – Digital & Social is a senior offshore leadership role responsible for owning and scaling digital and social content capability across B2B, B2C, and Provider audiences. This role serves as the enterprise owner for digital and social channels—driving strategy, execution governance, innovation, and performance optimization at scale. Operating in a global, matrixed environment, this role is expected to function with a high degree of autonomy, influence senior stakeholders across geographies, and ensure offshore delivery consistently delivers enterprise-level outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall, 13-15 years of experience with 8–10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, social media, or content leadership within large, global organizations.

• Demonstrated success owning and scaling enterprise-level digital and social channels across multiple audiences.

• Deep expertise across paid and organic social strategies, digital platforms, and evolving media trends.

• Proven experience leveraging AI-driven content tools and marketing automation to drive efficiency and impact.

• Strong executive presence with experience partnering with US-based senior leaders and operating across time zones.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Global Channel Strategy & Ownership

  • Own and evolve global digital and social channel strategy aligned to brand, campaigns, and business goals
  • Act as SME on platform capabilities, trends, and best practices
  • Partner with global marketing leadership to drive strategic alignment

Content Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of digital/social content across paid and owned channels
  • Govern content calendars to ensure alignment, quality, and platform optimization
  • Translate campaign strategy into scalable frameworks for offshore teams and agencies

Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Define and enforce content standards, brand consistency, and compliance controls
  • Build playbooks enabling speed, scale, and consistency across markets
  • Optimize operating models to improve efficiency and reduce rework

Innovation & Capability Building

  • Drive AI and automation adoption to enhance content creation and distribution
  • Scale innovative digital storytelling approaches
  • Partner with tech, analytics, and transformation teams to embed new capabilities

Performance & Optimization

  • Own channel performance measurement (engagement, efficiency, ROI)
  • Deliver actionable insights and executive-level recommendations
  • Connect performance outcomes to business impact

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted partner to US senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Lead and develop high-performing offshore teams with strong accountability and capability
