Crucially, this role will build and nurture internal Communities of Practice, fostering a self-sustaining culture of peer-to-peer learning that maximizes the return on technology investments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Strategic Framework Design & Architecture

Design the Overarching Framework:

  • Conceptualize and build the enterprise digital adoption framework from the ground up, moving beyond simple execution to define the how and why of the organization's digital journey.

Design and implement a comprehensive digital adoption roadmap that aligns with organizational goals. This includes defining the approach for key strategic pillars:

  • Digital Literacy: Establishing baseline competencies across the firm.
  • Productivity: Designing utilization strategies for the likes of M365, AI Prompting and other digital implementations.

2 Community of Practice & Citizen Developer Enablement

  • Architect the Community: Design and launch a Community of Practice (CoP) to support the Citizen Developer program. This involves creating the structure for knowledge sharing, peer review, and solution showcasing.
  • Governance & Empowerment: Create the governance framework that allows business users to build solutions safely using the Power Platform, while using the Community of Practice to enforce standards and share best practices.
  • Social Learning Strategy: Move beyond traditional training by facilitating forums, hackathons, and champion networks where super-users can mentor peers.

3 Curriculum Architecture & Omni-Channel Delivery

  • Content Strategy: Develop and oversee the creation of a diverse range of learning materials.
  • Accessibility: Ensure training content is accessible and effective across all learning channels, utilizing in-app guidance, video tutorials, and self-service knowledge bases.

4 Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with IT, business unit leaders, change managers, and external vendors to secure buy-in and ensure a unified approach to digital transformation. Act as a subject matter expert for all adoption-related activities.

5 Training and Support

  • Plan and manage the support ecosystem for newly adopted technologies. This includes coordinating with the service desk, establishing a super-user network, and creating a feedback loop to address user challenges and improve the support model.
  • Proactively identify and address barriers to digital adoption, such as user resistance, skill gaps, or poor tool usability. Use data and user feedback to inform corrective actions and optimize the adoption strategy.

6 Performance Measurement and Reporting

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of digital adoption initiatives and the health of the Community of Practice (e.g., active participation, solutions shared).
  • Prepare and present reports on digital adoption progress to senior management and stakeholders, focusing on business impact and ROI.

7 People Management

  • Drive a high performing team
  • Lead and mentor members of the Digital Adoption team
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
  • Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
  • Facilitate effective communication and cooperation within the team

Internal Relationships:

  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement the digital adoption strategy.
  • Work closely with employees to provide training and support in using digital technologies.

External Relationships:

  • Engage with industry experts and peers to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as software vendors and consultants, when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in digital transformation, change management, or learning and development role, with a focus on technology adoption strategy.
