Automate and streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless application deployment
Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration between applications and infrastructure
Continuously monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to maintain high availability and performance
Contribute to the development and implementation of security best practices and compliance standards
Provide technical support and guidance to the broader team as needed
Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (or AWS ECS/EKS)
Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with backup and recovery strategies.
Work closely with developers to ensure smooth API integrations, performance tuning, and debugging deployment issues
Enforce security best practices, including IAM roles, VPCs, encryption, and API gateway security
Stay updated with AWS services, DevOps tools, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud architecture
Participate in an on-call rotation to handle after hours requests
3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
AWS Certified Professional
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Microservices, CI/CD, Jenkins
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
Ability to automate and script infrastructure using CloudFormation
Experience using Codepipeline / EC2 / Elastic Container Service
Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, and API Gateway
Proficiency in CI/CD tools, with hands-on experience in gitlab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
Expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployments
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation tasks
Experience with monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog
Knowledge of network security, VPC design, and IAM best practices
Familiarity with Java and microservices application deployment best practices
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency
