The Role :

We are seeking a highly technical individual to assist in transforming and architecting our development and business processes to improve our competitive advantage in time-to-market, cost and time of product development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the operational efficiency, reliability, and security of the platform.
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions for client requirements.
  • Advocate for DevOps/SRE best practices and promote operational efficiencies across the organization.
  • Analyze and review technology processes, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and implement fit-for-purpose automation solutions.
  • Meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for Platform Services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for product deployments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud environments and deployments.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using EKS and Rancher.
  • Support and maintain ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance using Dynatrace, Sumo Logic, and Site24x7.
  • Manage incident response and alerting through PagerDuty.
  • Ensure platform security and compliance using Trend Micro Workload Security.
  • Utilize Jira for issue tracking and ServiceNow for IT service management.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster on a rotational basis to support critical platform operations.
  • Establish and enforce DevOps/SRE standards, guidelines, and best practices

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps/platform engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, EC2).
  • Proficiency with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Rancher for cluster management.
  • Experience maintaining ArgoCD.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud provisioning and deployment automation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Sumo Logic, Site24x7).
  • Experience with incident management tools (PagerDuty).
  • Knowledge of security solutions such as Trend Micro Workload Security.
  • Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow for workflow and service management.
  • Knowledge of networking including routing, switching, IP addresses and subnets, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, etc.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional) or equivalent is advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of database management and optimization in cloud environments.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining systems compliant with ISO 27001 or other information security frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, or HIPAA.
