As a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer at our company, you'll be crucial in supporting and implementing our CI/CD platform. We're on a mission to deliver resilient software continuously and in an Agile manner, and we need your expertise to make it happen.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Lexis Nexis, you'll be supporting the global DevOps teams, and provide support for CI/CD pipelines.

Accountabilities:

  • Supporting development and engineering teams for DevOps issues, (covering areas like CICD pipelines, automation scripts, AWS infrastructure, and IaC for CloudFormation or Terraform)
  • Managing a support channel and work intake for the DevOps teams, and support other areas of Cloud Engineering as required.
  • Troubleshooting CICD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps to build and deploy.
  • Operating across various development environments while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Exploring ways to continually enrich our knowledge base with the latest troubleshooting insights and solutions.
  • Completing bug fixes and resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Manage your time while working across different time zones supporting global team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field.
  • Demonstrated and proven track record in supporting and resolving issues for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Have solid DevOps/operational skills for working in cloud environments.
  • Ability and experience designing, implementing, and supporting resilient CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Have experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Golang, Bash/Shell/PowerShell.
  • Be familiar with industry best practices for the cloud.
  • Have good knowledge of test-driven development and scripting using Python or similar languages within pipelines.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
