Role Description

The DevOps Engineer role at iSphere Top End, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in the Philippines. In this role, the DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery. The role involves managing and optimizing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting deployment and environment issues. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, improve scalability, and enhance security and reliability of systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on release planning, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of tools and workflows.

• Strong experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD

• pipeline design, automation, and configuration management.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration in Linux-based environments.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document solutions and processes.
• Background in software development or scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an ICT or technology-focused organization and familiarity with agile methodologies is an advantage.
