DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

. Maintain applications for Agile Development and Continuous Integration

. Provide guidance and expertise on system/infrastructure setup and operational requirements for development, test and production environment

. Build automation and pipelines to accelerate delivery of new features to our internal and external customers

. Contribute to the design and deployment of system infrastructure, DevOps tooling and processes for operations

. Document on-going routine maintenance tasks to ensure application's optimal performance, user guide for 1st level support, and assist in the production support

. Work closely with the development team to define and improve the deployment, releases and build system quality

Qualifications:

. Bachelor or Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent

. Minimum 3 years of experience in tool administration, application and service tasks

. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity or CircleCI

. Experience in Database Administration using MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL

. Experience in scripting tools such as Shell, Perl

. Experience in managing Web/Application Servers such as Apache/Tomcat, IIS, Nginx

. Experience in Server administration & Virtualization tools such as Windows OS, Unix OS, VMWare

. Basic knowledge in troubleshooting network connections and network administration

. Familiarity with package management tools such as npm, pip

. Familiarity with build processes and build tools such as maven, gradle

. Familiar in Agile SDLC that practices Test Driven Development (TDD), ContinuousIntegration and Continuous Delivery

. Ability to communicate decisions effectively to both the technical and business teams

. Ability to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information
