About the role: We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and scale our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You'll enable seamless development, testing, and deployment across web, mobile, and backend platforms in AWS and Azure environments.

Work Setup: Hybrid
Work Location: Makati City
Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months (extendable depending on the project)
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, mobile build pipelines)
- Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
- Configure Docker containers and orchestration (ECS/EKS)
- Set up monitoring & alerting (Datadog, CloudWatch, Sentry)
- Strengthen security (IAM, secrets management, SSL/TLS, vulnerability scans)
- Write automation scripts in Python & Bash
- Support developers with deployments and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Have 35 years experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure / SRE
- Strong hands-on AWS production experience
- CI/CD pipeline design expertise
- Docker & container management
- Monitoring & observability experience
- Networking fundamentals & Linux administration
- Basic ability to read React/TypeScript & NestJS for debugging
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have: Kubernetes (EKS), cost optimization, SOC2/HIPAA familiarity, distributed tracing, GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux), Azure experience
