DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer 2 at Asurion. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving the technology that powers our industry-leading products and services. Based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for automating, optimising, and streamlining our software delivery processes to ensure seamless deployments and top-notch performance.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Docker
• Monitor and analyse system metrics to identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Participate in incident response and issue resolution to ensure high availability and reliability
• Continuously research and implement new technologies and best practices to improve our DevOps capabilities
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, or Bash
• Strong understanding of containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
