Design Manager

We are looking for a Design Manager to lead the architectural and multidisciplinary design delivery for hyperscale data centre projects across APAC. You will responsible for managing projects from concept design through construction, architecture-led coordination with MEP and structural teams, working closely with hyperscale clients and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design management from concept, schematic, detailed design through construction
• Drive architectural planning, layout optimisation, and space allocation for data centre facilities
• Coordinate architecture, MEP, structural, and fire/life safety consultants to deliver integrated designs
• Manage design development, technical reviews, and constructability assessments across all stages
• Facilitate design workshops, value engineering, and risk mitigation activities
• Act as key interface between clients, consultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure smooth transition from design to construction, including IFC documentation and clarifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Building, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in data centre, mission-critical design projects
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across architecture, MEP, and structural disciplines
• Good understanding of architectural planning and coordination with data center / critical MEP infrastructure
