Your Role, Your Impact
As an Electrical Design Engineer – Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of electrical designs across SMDC projects. You will:
- Conduct design reviews of electrical works to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist the Engineering Design Manager in evaluating electrical engineering designs submitted by external consultants and integrating stakeholder feedback.
- Participate in meetings to identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.
- Monitor and follow up on deliverables from external design consultants to ensure timely and complete submissions.
- Review electrical systems, layouts, drawings, and specifications at each stage of the design process to ensure quality and legal compliance.
- Support the Engineering Design Manager in conducting annual MEPF audits of SMDC properties, focusing on electrical systems.
- Document design review results and communicate action items to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates who:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
- Have a valid PRC license.
- Preferably have at least 5 years of experience in property development, real estate, construction, or consulting.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in electrical design or design management roles.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Are self-motivated, decisive, and adaptable to change and competing demands.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Are flexible and capable of managing shifting priorities and timelines.
- Are eager to learn and apply new technologies.
