Responsibilities
- Development and execution of strategic plan, including growth targets, project pipeline, project execution strategies and diversification strategies within the renewable energy sector.
- Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities, market trends, and potential risks and challenges in the Philippine renewable energy landscape.
- Support in the setting and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Philippine operations including project timelines, technical performance, and budget adherence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the local team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, project progress, and operational performance for the Country Head and regional management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Philippine regulations and permitting requirements for renewable energy projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the local Philippines power or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record in managing the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) from early stage, financial close, engineering, construction, commissioning and operations.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine regulatory framework, permitting processes, and market dynamics for renewable energy projects.
- Established network of contacts within the Philippine government, energy industry, and business community.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
