We are not looking for a traditional receptionist; we are seeking a
Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Guide to be the warm, confident, and highly capable voice of our boutique pediatric dental practice. In a concierge, Fee-for-Service model, the first interaction is the most critical.
The ideal candidate is relationship-driven and conversion-aware. You will not just book appointments—you will listen deeply to parents concerns, guide them through our unique care process, and help them feel confident that our comprehensive care model is the best investment for their child's health.
Core Responsibilities:
- Consultative Lead Management: Conduct discovery calls with prospective parents, moving beyond basic scheduling to understand the child's specific needs and the family's expectations.
- Value Communication: Effectively articulate the benefits of our FFS/Concierge model, helping parents understand the value of our comprehensive care versus traditional insurance-driven practices.
- Patient Conversion & Onboarding: Act as a guide for new families, managing the journey from the initial inquiry to the first consultation with consistent follow-up and attention to detail.
- Strategic Scheduling: Manage the practice calendar with precision, ensuring the doctor's time is optimized for high-quality, unhurried patient care.
- Multichannel Communication: Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and inquiries with a calm, reassuring presence and a high level of professionalism.
- Relationship Continuity: Maintain a meticulous follow-up system to ensure no family feels lost in the process, fostering long-term loyalty from the very first touchpoint.
Requirements
- Communication Excellence: You must possess a concierge-level phone presence—warm, empathetic, and authoritative.
- Sales/Consultative Mindset: Experience in consultative sales, patient coordination, or high-end hospitality is highly preferred. You should be comfortable discussing fees and value-based care.
- Critical Thinking: While you follow structured systems, you have the ability to think on your feet and adapt your approach based on the parent's tone and concerns.
- Organizational Mastery: Naturally accountable and highly organized; you take pride in owning the lead pipeline and ensuring the EMR/CRM is updated with 100% accuracy.
- Philosophy Alignment: You are motivated by a service-oriented, patient-first philosophy and are excited by the opportunity to elevate the pediatric dental experience.
