Delivery Manager (Scrum Master)
Role Summary
The Delivery Manager (Scrum Master) is responsible for end-to-end delivery governance of an in-house, cloud-native enterprise system modernization initiative. The role combines project management accountability with Scrum Master responsibilities, ensuring that delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned with agile principles.
This role coordinates cross-functional teams (architecture, development, QA, UI/UX), manages dependencies and risks, facilitates agile ceremonies, and provides clear delivery visibility to stakeholders and executives.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on agile principles and continuous improvement.
- Remove blockers and impediments affecting team delivery.
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and sprint readiness.
- Promote predictable sprint execution and healthy team velocity.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan, milestones, and release timelines.
- Track scope, risks, dependencies, and issues across teams.
- Coordinate delivery across architecture, development, QA, and UX.
- Ensure alignment between delivery activities and approved architecture.
- Manage vendor and consultant coordination where applicable.
- Prepare and present status reports, delivery dashboards, and risk updates to management.
- Ensure delivery artifacts support auditability and governance requirements.
Governance & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery follows agreed processes, controls, and quality gates.
- Escalate risks and issues proactively with recommended mitigation plans.
- Support release readiness and go-live coordination.
Required Skills & Experience
- 710+ years of experience in project management and agile delivery.
- Proven experience working as both Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience delivering enterprise or system modernization projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with external consultants or vendors.
Agile & Delivery Experience
- Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience managing delivery plans, timelines, and dependencies.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or equivalents).
- Experience supporting sprint-based development and release cycles.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cloud-based or digital transformation programs.
- Exposure to regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
- Scrum Master or Agile Project Management certifications (CSM, PSM, PMP-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Must be willing to work onsite at our Ortigas Center office and be comfortable working UK time hours.
