The Role
We are seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of client work across multiple projects and accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring that work is delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards, while supporting efficient team coordination and clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
The Delivery Manager works closely with internal teams, contractors, and leadership to maintain smooth workflows, manage risks, and continuously improve delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management
- Oversee delivery across multiple projects and ongoing client engagements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with agreed quality standards.
- Monitor delivery progress and address risks or issues proactively.
- Serve as an escalation point for delivery-related concerns.
Planning & Workflow
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and dependencies using ClickUp.
- Ensure clear ownership of tasks and deliverables across teams.
- Coordinate approvals, milestones, and handoffs between stakeholders.
- Maintain consistent delivery processes and documentation.
Resource & Coordination
- Coordinate internal resources and external partners to support delivery needs.
- Monitor workload and capacity to ensure balanced resourcing.
- Support alignment between creative, technical, and marketing teams.
Scope & Financial Awareness
- Track effort and progress against agreed scopes.
- Identify scope changes and support change management processes.
- Maintain awareness of delivery efficiency and project profitability.
- Provide visibility into delivery performance and risks.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain regular status updates for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure clear communication of timelines, risks, and next steps.
- Collaborate with leadership on delivery-related reporting and KPIs.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the improvement of delivery workflows, templates, and SOPs.
- Support consistency and repeatability in how services are delivered.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delivery friction.
What Success Looks Like
- Projects and accounts are delivered smoothly with minimal disruption.
- Teams have clear plans, priorities, and ownership.
- Clients are informed and confident in delivery progress.
- Delivery risks are identified and addressed early.
- Processes support consistent, predictable execution.
Qualifications
- 35+ years of experience in delivery management, project management, or operations within a digital, marketing, or creative agency.
- Experience managing multiple projects or accounts simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp or similar).
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with creative production, web development, or paid media workflows.
- Familiarity with retainer-based or ongoing client engagements.
- Exposure to agency financial tracking or utilization concepts.
