Job Summary
The Logistics Delivery Helper is to be in charge of loading, and delivery of goods to customers or retail locations. This role leads in the delivery ensuring orders are complete, properly handled, and delivered on time. The Delivery Helper also leads with unloading goods, obtaining delivery confirmations, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles. The position is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth last-mile delivery operations while also supporting general warehouse tasks during non-delivery hours.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Assistance
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods.
- Ensure accuracy of items for delivery based on delivery receipt, material transfer / issuance or packing lists.
- Secure and handle items properly to avoid damage during transit.
Customer Coordination
- Support smooth handover of goods to clients or store representatives.
- Obtain signatures or delivery receipts as proof of delivery.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor during all customer interactions.
Warehouse Support
- Assist with packing, organizing, and preparing items for delivery.
- Help with stock movement, labeling, and basic inventory checks.
- Return unused materials or delivery tools to designated areas after trips.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow safety protocols while loading, unloading, or riding delivery vehicles.
- Wear appropriate PPE and assist in vehicle cleanliness and maintenance check.
- Report any delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback to the supervisor.
Qualification & Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training or TESDA certification in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related roles preferred.
- Experience in retail, distribution, or e-commerce warehouse settings is an advantage.
Back-Up Driver Qualification
- Must hold a valid driver's license (e.g., Restriction 1 & 2 or equivalent)
- Capable of operating delivery vehicles when needed to support the main driver
- Familiarity with basic driving routes and safety protocols is preferred
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of delivery documents such as packing lists or invoices.
- Familiar with warehouse tools (e.g., trolleys, hand trucks).
- Ability to follow delivery routes and schedules.

Physical Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 kilograms.
- Can stand, walk, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Able to work in different weather conditions and adapt to the physical demands of both warehouse and delivery settings
