We are looking for a Debt Collection Team Leader to join our Ecofinance team within Dyninno Group fintech division.
EcoFinance is a fast-growing fintech delivering accessible B2C financial services worldwide. Through brands like Creditprime and Honey Loan, we offer short term loans, instalment loans and lines of credit via our online platform. With over 5 million clients across Romania, Moldova and the Philippines, EcoFinance ranks among the top ten microfinance providers by loan volume. We are now expanding our offerings into digital and virtual cards linked to our mobile apps.
As a Debt Collection Team Leader you will lead and supervise the collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding accounts while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Responsible for monitoring performance, coaching and developing agents, managing escalations, analyzing delinquency trends, and implementing strategies to improve recovery rates and customer experience. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize processes, ensure accurate reporting, and achieve portfolio targets.

Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of collection agents to meet performance targets and KPIs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team metrics; conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve collection techniques and ensure compliance.
- Strategy Implementation: Execute collection strategies to maximize recovery while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Handle escalated cases, customer disputes, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance and activity reports to management.
- Process Improvement: Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and recovery rates.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure the team strictly follows regulatory guidelines and internal compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., QA, Training, Analytics) to support overall business goals.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in debt collections, preferably in a Supervisory or Team Lead role.
- Experience in the online lending field.
- Strong knowledge of collections processes, delinquency management, and regulatory/compliance standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance monitoring and reporting (e.g., KPIs, recovery rates, roll rates).
- Ability to manage escalations and handle sensitive customer situations professionally.
- Proficiency in collections systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
