About the Company
The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) professional will support SMIC and its group companies in planning, executing, and managing debt financing activities in both domestic and international markets. The role is responsible for optimizing the company's capital structure, ensuring competitive funding costs, maintaining strong investor relationships, and monitoring market conditions to support the organization's strategic financing needs.
About the Role
As DCM Analyst, you will conduct analysis on Group's debt profile and assess financing risks for the Group.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to manage financing risks for the Group
- Assist in development and execution of fund-raising strategies (e.g. capital market issuances) for the Group
- Evaluation of proposed transaction structure
- Deal management and documentation
- Assess opportunities for liability management
- Monitor and understand macro factors affecting both onshore and offshore markets
- Evaluate financing instruments/solutions, and its suitability to Group needs
- Proactively liaise and regularly dialogue with various business units to gather data, develop and execute funding strategies
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in capital markets and/or corporate finance
- At least 5 years of front room/client facing role with good communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly numerate
- Detail oriented and meticulous with numbers/data
- Good excel modeling skills
- College degree in Economics or Finance or other Business-related fields
- Preferably CPA or with strong accounting background
