In-charge of overseeing the Debit Card Business Department. This mainly includes managing the business performance and P&L for debit card-based products and the card usage components.
The position is responsible in leading the Debit Card team members by providing strategic guidance and business expertise, specifically in managing product and/or process enhancements related to debit cards and applying effective marketing practices to sustain the business.
Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the department's functional roles which include Product Governance, Maintenance and Development, Product Usage and Portfolio Action, Marketing Campaigns
- Acts as 2nd level checker, reviewer, and endorser (checks soundness of recommendation, adherence to goal and business strategy)
- Regularly reviews and evaluates the performance of governed products and programs, and consequently provide strategic direction to address performance gaps or potential business opportunities
- Supervises the team members productivity, engagement w/ stakeholders, and motivational fit
- Leads the design of initiatives to understand key business behaviors that drive customer usage, retention and engagement
- Proactively identifies opportunities to drive marketing and sales efforts by way of data-driven analyses and market research.
- Presents to and consults with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or Management
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services industry, project and product management and/or marketing gained from service sectors
- Preferably with 8-10 years of full-time work experience in Senior Manager/AVP or leadership role
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
