Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, ensuring the databases operate efficiently and effectively to support organizational needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement optimizations as necessary. - Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures. - Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. - Document database configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference. - Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in MongoDB Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of scripting languages for automation of database tasks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in MongoDB Administration. - This position is based at our Manila office.
