Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and updates. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and structures. - Document database configurations, procedures, and changes for future reference. - Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle Database Operations. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java Enterprise Edition. - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Operations. - This position is based at our Manila office.
