About the Role:

The Impact:The Data & Technology Research Ops Associate is an early-career role focused on enabling research and operational workflows through hands-on execution, automation, and applied use of technology and generative AI. You will play a significant part in enhancing the efficiency and consistency of our research and membership-related workflows. Your contributions will directly support the achievement of team goals and will often involve resolving varied and non-routine issues, requiring guidance and clarification to support quality work. This role will allow you to understand how your work fits into the broader team vision, contributing to team initiatives to improve the relative business area.

Responsibilities:
. Manage and execute end-to-end survey research operations, including programming, fielding, monitoring, troubleshooting, and preparing deliverables in Qualtrics, along with integrating survey data across platforms, supporting the membership-based survey panel, and performing data cleaning, manipulation, and preparation for analysis using structured datasets.

Provide hands-on operational and execution-focused support across research, membership, marketing-adjacent, and other relevant teams, encompassing tasks such as website/email updates, data and database cleaning, file preparation, formatting outputs, member communications, customer service workflows, survey mailing operations, and CRM data hygiene.
. Drive efficiency by identifying repetitive processes and building practical automations (e.g., scripts, macros, templates, AI-assisted workflows) and apply generative AI tools broadly for tasks like drafting, summarization, data transformation, and quality checks.
. Document processes and contribute to continuous improvements in research and operational infrastructure.
. Collaborate closely with senior researchers and technical stakeholders while focusing on implementation and execution.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
. A Bachelor's degree in field of study is flexible. Relevant backgrounds include social sciences, statistics, data analytics, information systems, computer science, or related disciplines.
. Comfort navigating, integrating, and troubleshooting across multiple tools, platforms, and systems.
. Working knowledge of Python or similar languages (formal or informal experience accepted, including coursework or personal projects).
. Strong Excel skills experience with SPSS or similar statistical tools for data manipulation and analysis.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
. Interested in developing skills in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), HTML for email and basic web updates, GenAI prompting and workflow design, and data management and operational data practices.
. SQL, JavaScript, or additional Python experience.
. Excel macros or advanced spreadsheet automation.
. Experience experimenting with lightweight LLM agents or multi-step AI workflows.
