Data, Systems & Processes (DSP) Optimization Manager
Contribution: This key role continuously helps to manage and find ways to improve our business processes and information systems to achieve our strategic objectives. Specifically, their goals are to make things easier for stakeholders (CSBA team members, customers, and sureties), increase responsiveness by reducing the time it takes to perform tasks, automate where possible to free up our team to provide greater levels of personalized service, and create visibility into data in a manner that is easy to understand and accessible to the users enabling better feedback and ability to make decisions.
Business Information Systems
- Function as the liaison between CSBA users and Sigma/Developers. This involves understanding the problems we are trying to solve for CSBA stakeholders, helping to create conceptual solutions, and working with Sigma and other service providers to find ways to refine or expand on the solutions.
- Manage the development and implementation of new Change Requests (CR's) for Vantage and other applications as appropriate.
- Address any bugs or issues that occur with Vantage with Sigma/Developers and other applications as appropriate.
- Develop training materials, how to videos, and a searchable user guide for Vantage and other key programs such as Active Campaign.
- Work with Admin to create procedures for when to direct users to reach out to the Vantage Admin. Examples include but are not limited to deleting bonds, adding bond number back in, update check number, associated bid bond to final bond.
- Research and suggest new initiatives to CSBA executive team.
- Create ways to extract data, reports, and visuals where beneficial or needed for Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Research and explore ways to use AI to enhance our business processes.
- Exploring and staying up to date with off-the-shelf surety management system products (Tinubu Square, Surety Cloud, SurePath, Erlon, and Bond-Pro), and CRM/marketing softwares (Sales Force, HubSpot, Active Campaign and others) to continuously understand capabilities, gain ideas, and evaluate whether CSBA is using the best products to meet our goals.
- Must have familiarity with AWS and be able to:
- Procuring Instance
- Backups
- S3 buckets
- Deployment of CR's
- Stay current on cyber security best practices as it relates to Vantage security
- MFA
- Encryption
