Data Scientist

CORE FUNCTION:

· Business Insights

· Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for stakeholders over data charts and power point presentations.

· Develop dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

· Model Development

· Build and validate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.

· Implement algorithms for forecasting, classification, and optimization.

· Collaboration

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data.

· Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Data Management & Analysis

· Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources.

· Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.

· Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Requirements

· Technical Skills

· Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and optimization.

· Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.

· Knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.

· Familiarity with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.

· Analytics & Tools

· Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

· Understanding of machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow preferred).

· Education

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

· Experience

· 3+ years in data analytics or data science roles.

· Proven track record of delivering insights through SQL and advanced analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

· Knowledge of big data technologies

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
