Job Overview
- Designs and delivers advanced data science, machine-learning, Gen AI solutions to extract actionable insights from large, complex structured and unstructured datasets, supporting evidence-based policy and decision-making
- Adapts and extends analytical techniques to develop classification, prediction, credit decisioning, propensity and optimization models tailored to complex business problems
- Leads end-to-end analytical delivery across the data lifecycle, including data preparation, modelling, deployment, monitoring, and governance
- Deploys and operationalizes models into production environments, establishing automated, repeatable analytical processes and MLOps/ModelOps practices
- Translates complex technical findings into clear, decision-ready insights through advanced visualization, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Capabilities/Experience
- Experienced in cloud analytics platforms such as Azure (preferred) and / or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in usage of different data platforms such as Data Warehouse and Data Lakes
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as PowerBI and Python/R visualization libraries
- Proficiency in SQL and analytical tooling such as Python/R
- Experienced in NLP / NLU modelling such as usage of BERT and PaLM; Generative implementation and Responsible AI expertise
- Experienced in distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark)
- Proficiency in Ops and Governance practices, including the use of Git, MLOps/ModelOps tooling, and data governance platforms such as Collibra
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in working and coordinating remotely
- Strong problem solving and solutions engineering mindset
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- Preferably with Postgraduate qualification in a data or analytics-related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering advanced analytical solutions
