As a Data Science Manager, it is an important role in driving data-driven decision making and leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems. Working closely with the Data Science Department Head, the role may lead a team of data scientists and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver impactful data science solutions and insights. The role's expertise in business analysis, machine learning, data science using a variety of modeling methods, algorithms, and techniques, project management, and strategic thinking will be critical in shaping our data science initiatives and driving innovation within the bank.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (i.e). Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics, and with strong knowledge on Artificial Intelligence
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python or R. Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is advantageous. Familiarity with Java, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Cloud Platforms (Azure), Software Engineering Expertise in MS Office tools, proficiency in powerpoint, presentation materials preparation
- Project management experience including planning, initiation, resource allocation, risk & issue management, and stakeholder management are required.
