Job Description

We're looking for a Data Science Engineer to join our growing and mission-driven Data Science team.

About The Job

As a Data Science Engineer, you are expected to:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models and analytical solutions to support business needs.
  • Contribute to data exploration, feature engineering, and model experimentation under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support the implementation and integration of machine learning models with existing systems in collaboration with software engineers.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and generate insights that guide business decisions.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in end-to-end project workflows - from understanding business requirements to delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Stay curious about advancements in machine learning and LLMs and applying relevant learnings to improve your craft.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge and experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, or similar frameworks) and SQL for data manipulation.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and modern data workflows.
  • Foundational knowledge of LLMs, vector databases, and data pipeline development. At least 1 year of hands-on experience is a plus.
  • At least 1 year experience working on any academic, internship, or project-based data science work.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps concepts (CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring) is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platform (AWS, GCP) is a plus but not required.
