The Opportunity

SHIFT: Wednesday to Sunday (1:00PM to 10:00PM Manila Time)

We are looking for a Data Processing Technician to join our team whose primary duties will be creating, editing, and checking accuracy of files and statistical reports. This role involves a specific focus on validating digitized survey data, while working collaboratively with internal teams to process, analyze, and deliver data outputs for our clients. Your Impact

  • Data Validation: Validate and reconcile data captured through Optical Character Recognition (OCR), cross-checking against physical survey responses to ensure accuracy.
  • Processing & Analysis: Run cross-tabulations, apply weights, clean data, and customize data tables for delivery.
  • Quality Control: Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in data sets to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency before client delivery.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal analysts and managers to ensure adherence to data best practices and project specifications.
  • Process Optimization: Maintain and follow established workflows while proactively identifying opportunities to automate or optimize processes.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: 23 years of professional experience in Market Research Operations, Survey Programming, Data Analytics, QA, or Statistics. While Data Processing experience is preferred; candidates with strong transferable skills in related technical fields will also be considered.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) is required; experience with any data or statistical tools is a major plus (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Qualtrics, SQL, or similar).
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred; a background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on ensuring high levels of quality control. Errors don't get past you.
  • Expert Multitasker: You successfully manage time and multiple competing priorities to ensure deadlines are always met. Staying organized is a must for managing projects.
  • Critical Thinker: You are able to understand complex logic/data questions and find the root cause of discrepancies.
  • Strong Communicator: You communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively to set expectations with colleagues and clients.
  • Growth Mindset: You welcome feedback, are curious about new tools, and are eager to learn the specific software stacks used in our workflow (e.g., Uncle, Q, Dimensions).
