Role description: The primary purpose of this role is to drive the data & knowledge culture transformation across the organization, delivered under the data & knowledge strategy. The Data & Knowledge Culture Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote data literacy, data-driven decision-making, a knowledge organization, and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Role accountabilities:
- The Data & Knowledge Culture Lead will champion data & knowledge culture initiatives and promote a culture of data & knowledge excellence across Arcadis.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data & knowledge culture aligned with the Data Strategy.
- Work with the Data Literacy Lead to deliver initiatives to enhance data literacy and competency across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with Data & Knowledge Domain Owners to identify and address data & knowledge skills gaps within their Domain teams.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address data & knowledge culture gaps and opportunities.
- Build strong Knowledge and Data Communities for sharing current initiatives, best practices, and regulatory and compliance updates.
- Promote best practices in data management, analytics, knowledge management, and governance.
- Foster a culture of data-driven and knowledge-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of data & knowledge culture initiatives.
- Provide thought leadership and internal communications within their area of responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information management or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving culture transformation, ideally including promoting data literacy in large organizations.
- Strong understanding of data & knowledge management principles, tools, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in change management and organizational development is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the Company organization
